MTEC22 was an incredible event focused on media technology, designed by students for students. It was an opportunity to explore the convergence of real and virtual worlds, pushing the boundaries of our imagination and embracing the possibilities of modern technology.
My role in MTEC22 was centered around character design. Collaborating closely with a talented team, we crafted a captivating character that would become the face of the event. From sketching initial concepts to refining the final design, we wanted to ensure the character embodied the essence of the event and captivated the audience.
But my involvement didn't stop there. I took on the responsibility of bringing the character to life through programming. I delved into the intricacies of creating dynamic movements, developing an interactive menu to change the character's clothes, crafting a seamless user interface, and even implementing multiplayer gameplay. It was a comprehensive endeavor that allowed me to showcase my skills in coding and game development.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage with the character and experience its interactive features firsthand. The character became a memorable and engaging element of the MTEC22 experience, enhancing the overall atmosphere and fostering a sense of connection with the virtual world.
Participating in MTEC22 was an immensely rewarding experience. It allowed me to combine my passion for design and programming, pushing my creative and technical abilities to new heights. Working alongside a talented team and contributing to such an innovative event has undoubtedly enriched my portfolio and provided valuable insights into the intersection of media and technology.
